BNI Leading Edge is welcoming its newest referral partner - MIna Khalil - in its midst. Mina is a Real Estate and Corporate Lawyer based in Mississauga, and whose clients are located throughout the GTA (Brampton, Oakville, Etobicoke, Toronto, etc.)

Mina is seen her on the right being welcomed by chapter President Dr. Serge Lanoue (left). In his inauguration week, Mina has already passed 3 referrals to his new referral partners, for business in Mississauga and Brampton.

Every summer, BNI Leading Edge holds the BNI Game, a friendly competition within the chapter where teams try to outdo each other in getting referrals and visitors, counting one-to-one meetings between members and thank each other for closed business. But watch out for absences or that will negatively impact your score!

This year the big winner is Team Blue - the team were assigned colour names - with Balbir Pabila, Serge Lanoue, John Mullen and Saverio Di Mondo shown in the photo from left to right. This team exchanged referrals in Mississauga and Brampton mostly, but also referrals in parts of Toronto as well.

BNI Leading Edge is welcoming its newest member - Justin Dugal of Secured Life Planning - in the Life Insurance, Critical Disability and Illness category.

Justin brings a wealth of knowledge from the insurance industry which fellow chapter members can tap into to provide him with referrals.

There was a special recognition for Balbir Pabila, Independent Consultant with Arbonne, as she had brought the most visitors to our chapter in July. She is seen here on the left accepting the award from current chapter President Dr. Serge Lanoue.

Balbir is an active networker, and she come across many business women and business men who are interested in growing their business through referrals. She then invites these business people to see if word-of-mouth marketing would help them grow their business.

Balbir is easily able to generate referrals in Brampton and Mississauga - where she is most active - but she also covers the rest of the Toronto area and is able to serve customers in many countries across the world.

It's exciting when a visitor to joins the chapter: it means more networking opportunities, a larger business network, and of course more referrals exchanged between the members.

As part of the annual Summer BNI Game where the members compete based on who brings in the most referrals, the most visitors and a few other metrics, Charlene Souster-Morris (right) is seen accepting a crisp $100 dollar bill from President Dr. Serge Lanoue, because one of the visitors Charlene invited to the chapter has actually joined the chapter! Stay tuned for the new member announcement!

Charlene offers home and auto insurance within the group, and has been getting business referrals from Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville and other areas around the GTA since she joined. She's also very respected at providing referrals to the other members as well.
